Il 19 maggio infatti esce "THE DESIRED EFFECT", anticipato dal singolo "Can't Deny My Love" attualmente in rotazione radiofonica anche in Italia. "THE DESIRED EFFECT" è il degno successore di "FLAMINGO", primo lavoro solista di BRANDON FLOWERS.
L'album è prodotto da Ariel Rechtshaid (già con Haim, Vampire Weekend, Charlie XCX e molti altri artisti) e consiste in una manciata di canzoni magiche che ci restituiscono un artista pop rock completo, molto maturato, a tratti inedito. L'album è stato registrato a Las Vegas, presso i Battle Born Studios. Il ritorno solista di BRANDON FLOWERS prosegue il successo di The Killers, la formazione americana che ha registrato un sold out allo storico stadio di Wembley in poche ore e che continua ad ottenere grandi successi in tutto il mondo.
