La raccolta include demo iniziali, versioni alternative e rarità che ripercorrono l'evoluzione del sound influenzato dall'R&B di Bedtime Stories. Bedtime Stories - The Untold Chapter sarà pubblicato in edizione limitata in vinile nero e in digitale.
Madonna ha collaborato con Stuart Price, produttore di ""Confessions on a Dance Floor"", per dare forma a questo EP, modificando e mixando diverse versioni in un nuovo capitolo coerente. L'artwork presenta immagini inedite tratte da uno shooting del 1994 di Paolo Roversi, le cui foto sono state utilizzate anche per il singolo ""Bedtime Story"".
