Le canzoni hanno tutte un beat potente e la voce di Kelly è davvero "più forte" e centrata che mai. Kelly stessa ha definito questo album il suo lavoro migliore. Ad anticipare l'LP è stato il singolo Heartbeat Song un pezzo che rispecchia il suono dell'intero album. Le sonorità rock/pop rock sono molto più pronunciate rispetto agli scorsi lavori. Un prodotto davvero ottimo per la cantautrice statunitense, con ben 16 tracce, canzoni orecchiabili, testi assolutamente non banali, ed una voce versatile, adatta sia alle ballate che ai brani più rock e vivaci.
