Nell'estate del 1994, durante un break del tour con gli Allman Brothers, la formazione originale dei Gov't Mule ovvero Warren Haynes, Allen Woody e Matt Abts si ritrova ai Tel-Star Studios di Sarasota, in Florida, per metter gių le basi di un power trio con un sound alla Cream, Jimi Hendrix Experience, Blue Cheer e ZZ Top. Il risultato č una bomba di rock ed heavy blues di grande gusto nelle melodie e nei testi, una di quelle cose che rimangono inevitabilmente nella storia del genere. Il prossimo 5 agosto, Mascot ed Edel Italy daranno nuova vita ad una perla della musica rock americana mai dimenticata: "The Tel-Star Sessions" dei Gov't Mule, per l'occasione in versione remixata e rimasterizzata!
